Jr. Brand + Creative Production Coordinator

  • Responsibilities: Assist in developing strategy for brand messaging and storytelling, marketing initiatives, events/activations, product, and more. Conceptualize and style multiple campaigns including location scouting, wardrobe, model coordinating, on-set management and photoshoot direction. Develop skills in trend forecasting, copywriting and social media strategizing.

  • Skills Developed: Wrote engaging, on-brand messaging for internal materials, print and digital marketing assets, social media, etc. Utilized voice, storytelling and attention to detail to connect with audience and consumers on tight deadlines.

 

USC Prison Education Project

Student Director

  • Responsibilities: Oversee classes taught by USC Professors in various facilities across Southern California, manage social media platforms, organize events and on-campus activations, coordinate across student and faculty teams.

 

Daily Trojan

Social Media Director

  • Accomplishments: Increased Instagram following by over 80% in first two semesters as director through conducting analytics reports, developing social media templates, and creating engaging content. Instituted image descriptions and alt text to increase accessibility.

  • Responsibilities: Direct a team of content creation staff and collaborate with editors, writers, and staff to shape the social media identity of the paper. Schedule social media content on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram (experienced with programs such as Buffer and Tweetdeck). Oversee podcast, audience engagement, diversity and inclusion, and wellness sections.

  • Responsibilities: Research and develop databases of diverse influencers, clients and collaborators. Prepare slide decks for pitches, write client reports and media alerts, track progress and activity on multiple social media and influencer campaigns.

  • Skills developed: Cross-team communication, spreadsheet organization, integrating active inclusive practices on all levels, program proficiency with Lefty, Influencer Intelligence, Backgrid etc. Emphasis on: messaging, pitching, social media and influencer integration, etc.
